Personal Care Assistant

• Permanent Part Time shifts available: Night, PM & AM

About you

You are a qualified and compassionate person who has a strong focus on providing high quality care to our residents at Jewish Care Victoria. You’re passionate to positively impact our residents' lives by aiding and supporting with services that are in line with their needs. You will be a part of a vibrant, dedicated and community orientated team that unites for the common goal of caring for our residents. 

You would be a great fit if you have:

• Completed a Certificate III in Individual Support or Certificate IV in Ageing Support
• Good communication skills and customer service
• One year experience in aged care (desirable)
• Demonstrate an understanding of culturally diverse environments
• Experience providing personal care to assist residents with activities of daily living and lifestyle
• Provide residents with nutrition and hydration in a timely manner
• Ensure residents daily care is provided in a dignified manner
• Legible and accurate documentation of daily care notes and observations as required with responsibility for ensuring up to date knowledge of Residential Care Standards and completion of assessment records in collaboration with the team.
