Jewish Care Victoria, is a not-for-profit organisation and is one of the largest providers of aged and community services for the Jewish Community in Victoria and has been servicing the community for over 175 years. Our staff come from diverse cultural and religious backgrounds. This day aims to foster a comprehensive understanding of the ethos and mission of Jewish Care. 

The key responsibilities of this role are:

  • Manage end-to-end procurement processes including tender preparation, supplier evaluation, and contract negotiation
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Analyse market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Support budget planning and expenditure monitoring across service areas
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and reporting systems

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in business, finance, or related field
  • 2+ years experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication abilities and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office suite
  • Understanding of not-for-profit sector requirements preferred
