Community Engagement Lead - Mental Health & Wellbeing

Jewish Care Victoria is seeking a passionate Community Engagement Lead to join our Social Services team in Windsor. This fixed-term, full-time role runs until June 2027 with a view to permanency, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of community members while advancing mental health and wellbeing initiatives.

About the Opportunity

You'll lead our community engagement efforts, building connections and developing programs that support mental health and wellbeing across diverse populations. Working from our office in Windsor, you'll collaborate with community members, partners, and stakeholders to create inclusive and accessible services that respond to real needs.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and implement community engagement strategies for mental health programs
  • Build relationships with community groups, healthcare providers, and local organisations
  • Design and facilitate workshops, events, and educational sessions
  • Gather community feedback to inform service development and improvement
  • Support individuals and families navigating mental health and disability services
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure culturally responsive service delivery

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in community engagement, mental health, or social services
  • Strong communication skills and ability to connect with people from all backgrounds
  • Understanding of mental health challenges and community-based support approaches
  • Project coordination experience with proven ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Commitment to inclusive practices and cultural sensitivity
  • Relevant qualifications in social work, psychology, community development, or related field
