Registered Nurse Quality Coordinator

  • Permanent part time position- 3 days per week

About the opportunity

In this role, you’ll take part in a variety of tasks such as:

  • Conduct regular internal audits to assess the quality of care provided
  • Identify areas for improvement and recommend corrective actions to address deficiencies
  • Providing analysis on care and service performance
  • Have understanding of eQuip data 
  • Incident investigations and maintaining registers
  • Managing simple feedback and complaints and collaborate with management to drive improvement through continuous improvement initiatives
  • Work as a member of the nursing team and assist in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care
  • Contribute to care planning with residents and families to identify care needs

What you will bring

  • Current Nurse Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • In depth aged care understanding and experience of ACQSC standards
  • Experience in developing content and delivering clinical education
  • Experience managing quality and compliance programs
  • Skills in change management and cultural change processes and an ability to analyse and think critically
  • Strong ability to identify and implement areas for improvement initiatives to increase compliance levels and resident satisfaction
  • The ability to plan and deliver communications that are impactful and persuasive with the intended audience
