We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Data Entry Administrator to join our People & Development team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, values accuracy and takes pride in maintaining high-quality records that support every stage of the employee lifecycle.

 

About the Role

The Data Entry Administrator plays a key role in the accurate and timely entry, maintenance and quality assurance of employee information across our People & Development systems, including UKG and PayGlobal.

Working closely with the People & Development team, Payroll and other internal stakeholders, you will help keep employee records accurate, compliant and up to date while supporting efficient and reliable administrative processes across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately enter, update and maintain employee records within UKG, PayGlobal and other organisational systems.
  • Ensure current and historical employee records are complete, accurate, audit-ready and compliant with organisational and legislative requirements.
  • Process employee data changes, including new starters, transfers, position changes, employment variations and exits.
  • Conduct data quality checks, identify discrepancies and follow up with relevant stakeholders to resolve them.
  • Maintain electronic records and support document management, records retention and file archiving.
  • Prepare routine reports and provide data and administrative support as required.
  • Support data cleansing, system implementation and continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen data integrity and administrative efficiency.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality while handling sensitive employee information.
  • Work collaboratively with the broader People & Development team to support business priorities and deadlines.

 

About You

You are a methodical administrator who enjoys working with systems and data. You bring excellent attention to detail, manage competing priorities calmly and understand the importance of accurate, secure and timely employee information.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in data entry, records administration or a similar role where accuracy is critical.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including sorting, filtering and basic data validation.
  • Demonstrated experience maintaining databases and electronic records with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Familiarity with records management processes and document control.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling sensitive information.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with confidence following up on missing or inconsistent information.

Highly Regarded

  • Experience using HR information systems or payroll systems, particularly UKG and/or PayGlobal.
  • An understanding of employee lifecycle processes and HR compliance requirements.
