The Funding and Billing Officer manages end-to-end financial and billing operations across a range of funding streams, including invoice processing, reconciliation, debt management and the maintenance of accurate client and provider records. The role plays a critical part in ensuring compliance with Jewish Care Victoria policies, funding guidelines and regulatory requirements.

Working closely with internal teams, clients and external providers, this position supports timely and accurate reporting, funding submissions and the resolution of billing and payment queries.

The role also contributes to system optimisation, data reporting and continuous process improvement to enhance service efficiency and support high-quality outcomes.

You will be a great fit if you have:

  • Experience in financial administration, billing, invoicing or revenue operations - ideally in a regulated or service-based environment
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills and sound judgement when handling complex or sensitive billing matters
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders
  • Knowledge of aged care funding models, billing frameworks and compliance requirements
  • Systems proficiency, with experience using client management or financial systems (e.g. AlayaCare, ERP platforms)
  • A commitment to accuracy, integrity, person-centred service and continuous improvement
