Facilities Manager

As the Facilities Manager, you'll oversee the maintenance and operation of our facilities, ensuring they meet the highest standards for our residents, clients, and staff. This permanent full-time role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in aged care and community services. You'll manage facility operations across multiple sites, working with diverse teams to maintain spaces that truly matter to people's lives and wellbeing.

What You'll Do
  • Oversee maintenance programs and coordinate repairs across all facilities
  • Manage vendor relationships and service contracts
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements
  • Develop and monitor facility budgets
  • Lead sustainability initiatives and energy management programs
  • Collaborate with clinical and support teams on facility improvements
  • Respond to emergency maintenance situations
What We're Looking For
  • Experience in facilities management, preferably in healthcare or aged care
  • Strong understanding of building systems, maintenance, and compliance
  • Budget management and vendor negotiation skills
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of WHS regulations and building codes
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders
  • Trade qualifications or facilities management certification preferred
