The Manager, Financial Capability & Wellbeing leads the Financial Support Hub, one of four streams within the Social Services Division of the Disability & Social Services Directorate. The portfolio includes financial counselling, interest‑free loans, financial literacy and capability, financial aid and food security.

This role is critical to maintaining Jewish Care’s reputation for high‑quality and effective service delivery. You will lead and manage existing programs while developing new approaches to meet emerging community needs. As a member of the Social Services management team, you will contribute to strategic planning, quality initiatives, budget management, reporting and partnership development.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide senior leadership and oversight of financial support programs
  • Lead, supervise and develop multidisciplinary teams
  • Ensure high‑quality, person‑centred and compliant service delivery
  • Drive program improvement, innovation and responsiveness to community need
  • Manage budgets, KPIs, reporting and funding requirements
  • Build and represent Jewish Care in key partnerships and networks
  • Identify and pursue funding and growth opportunities

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven leadership experience in financial support or social services programs
  • Strong people management, program management and financial acumen
  • Strategic, innovative thinker with excellent stakeholder engagement skills
  • Degree in social services or equivalent sector experience
  • Understanding of financial hardship, financial counselling practices and social justice frameworks
  • Values‑aligned leader with cultural sensitivity and commitment to community wellbeing
