Network & System Administrator

About the position

The Network & Systems Administrator will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the IT landscape, ensuring efficient and secure operation for all Jewish Care staff. Strong customer focus and technical skills are critical for this role to ensure the continued support of the Jewish Care IT environment. This is a permanent full-time position based in our head office with hybrid working arrangements of one day a week from home.

You will be a great fit if you have:

• A relevant tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Network & System Administrator, preferably in a corporate or healthcare environment.
• Experience ensuring IT support response and resolution times are within defined service level agreements
• Configuring and maintaining network infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls
• Install, configure, and maintain server operating systems and applications
• Implement and maintain security measures, providing network and end user protection
• Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements
• Maintain detailed records of network and systems configuration and procedures
• Implement and maintain backup and recovery policies and procedures
• Configure and maintain Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 cloud services
• Report on assigned tasks, identifying and communicating risks and issues
• Build effective relationships with stakeholders and team members
