We are seeking an experienced and confident Team Leader to oversee a Supported Independent Living (SIL) home supporting participants with complex behaviours and high support needs.

This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong clinical insight, sound judgement and the ability to lead from the front. You will be responsible for ensuring safe, person-centred and high-quality supports while fostering a positive team culture.

You will be a great fit if you have experience in:

  • Leading, mentoring and supervising Disability Support Workers within a Supported Independent Living environment
  • Ensure compliance with NDIS Practice Standards and regulatory requirements, person-centred active support and Child Safe Standards
  • Proven ability to manage rosters, budgets and compliance requirements
  • Manage staff training, ongoing development and performance management
  • Promoting inclusion, empowerment and active participation for people with disability
  • Support participants with complex behaviours and psychosocial or intellectual disabilities
  • Implement Positive Behaviour Support Plans and risk management strategies
  • Monitor documentation, incident reporting and restrictive practice reporting
  • Driving continuous improvement, staff development and high-quality practice aligned with the Active Service Model

What you’ll bring:

  • At least two years’ experience leading teams in high-intensity or complex support settings, with a strong understanding of NDIS frameworks and practice standards
  • Certificate IV in Disability, Community Work or a related qualification (minimum)
  • Level 2 First Aid Certificate
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with clients, families and stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and client management systems
  • A collaborative, values-driven approach to leadership
