Volunteer- Friendly Visitor (English Speaking)

  • Reporting to the Practice and Support Coordinator/Lifestyle Coordinator
  • This role will be based at our Residential Aged Care facility in Windsor

The volunteer function at Jewish Care exists to provide compassionate support and meaningful engagement to individuals and communities in need. Through their contributions, volunteers help foster an inclusive, respectful, and socially responsible environment aligned with Jewish Care’s values. Their involvement strengthens the organisation’s ability to deliver essential services, create positive social connections, and uphold the dignity of those they assist.

To be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following criteria:

  • You don’t need special skills, just a warm heart and the desire to make a difference
  • Willingness to undergo or provide a National Criminal History Check or NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Provide two referees (non-family) who can speak to your character
  • Be reliable, compassionate, and enjoy spending time with our clients
  • Commitment to regular volunteering
