Customer Service Team- Front Line Agent

Join our welcoming Customer Service Team as a Front Line Agent and make a real difference in people's lives. This permanent part-time role offers you the chance to be the first point of contact for our community members, providing essential support and information with warmth, empathy and professionalism.

At Jewish Care Victoria, we're committed to supporting our community with compassion and excellence. As our Front Line Agent, you'll play an important role in ensuring every person who contacts us feels heard, valued, and supported.

What you will do:

  • Welcome callers and handle incoming phone calls with a friendly, caring and professional approach
  • Provide accurate information about our services and programs
  • Process enquiries and refer them to appropriate JCV Programs/ teams
  • Support administrative tasks and data entry as required
  • Handle sensitive situations with empathy and discretion

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous customer service or reception experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and genuine people focus
  • Ability to remain calm and helpful under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Comfortable using phone systems and computer software
  • Respect for cultural diversity and community values
  • Availability to work flexible part-time hours including some weekends
